- solid demonstrable and relevant experience in consultancy or the defence enterprise of developing or supporting the procurement of complex systems
- good understanding of requirements elicitation and management in challenging stakeholder environments
- understanding of lifecycles and experience of developing engineering strategies and artefacts required by the customer to match lifecycle stage
- developing architectures across the enterprise using standard languages and frameworks
- experience of managing the planning and conduct of, V&V development, test, evaluation and acceptance for complex systems
- technical lead on smaller projects, delivering identified engineering outputs within time, cost and quality constraints
