Responsibility
- repair, maintenance, design and installation of PLC/HMI based inspection solutions
- backup all PLC, HMI software, EIP networks and associated inspection equipment
- writing PLC programs for site upgrades
- make modifications to PLC programs & HMI configuration to correct issues or improve and optimise system performance
- designing and commissioning new machine vision inspection programs
- ability to read/modify electrical wiring diagrams
- work in line with company/customer policies, procedures and Safe System of Work
- routine administration – timesheets, permit-to-work, vehicle records
Requirements
- self-motivated, committed and highly organised
- good communication skills and computer literate
- fault finding and problem solving skills
- detailed knowledge and understanding of PLC’s, further knowledge of Omron would be an advantage
- experience shall include technical understanding of ladder logic programming, function block programming, HMI configuration, Ethernet I/P configuration and networks
- full driver’s license
- experience within a FMCG would be an advantage but not essential
