Responsibility

  • responsible for gaining specification of company product range with private house, social housing and local authority builders
  • to manage business with all major and subcontractors working in the private and social housing markets
  • maintain contact with developers and contractors to ascertain new site information and opportunities
  • to maintain up to date records of sites where rebate claims are submitted
  • to manage price increase implementation to developer clients and manage any price increase deferrals to sub-contractors
  • communication with relevant Area Sales Managers regarding placement and supply of all demand created
  • provide reports/monthly reports as necessary
  • recognise potential new developers /targets to contact

Requirements

  • A sound knowledge of the construction industry
  • A proven track record of selling into the contractor and developer market
  • general systems knowledge
  • knowledge of merchant key account negotiations and management
  • visible, passionate leadership style with effective and varied communication skills
  • commercial savvy with understanding of customer motivations linked to ability to develop tactics for negotiation and solution orientated business development
  • business development: 1 year

Responsibility

  • to maintain and facilitate the movement of completed consignments to the correct area within the business
  • carry out picking orders following information given, taking product from varying locations in a timely manner
  • ensuring all products are correctly identified with the correct information and palletised safely as required
  • provide a safe and timely service for the offloading and loading of a variety of vehicles
  • being competent in carrying out manual handling tasks within the workplace
  • ensure production outputs are achieved on time and in full
  • to maintain a safe working environment
  • ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers for safe disposal

Requirements

  • valid forklift truck licenses on reach , counterbalance, and pedestrian operated vehicles
  • A positive work ethic and enthusiastic approach to activities undertaken
  • willing to learn new skills
  • works well as part of a team, and on their own initiative to achieve company goals
  • good communication skills

general operative

Responsibility

  • ensure that the manufactured product meets the required quality standard
  • to maintain and facilitate the removal of finished product to finished goods area
  • ensure all product is correctly identified with correct labels
  • to ensure that 1 hourly quality checks are done and recorded on the QIR paperwork
  • to order required materials and boxes from the BOM, which is on the route card
  • to ensure housekeeping standards are adhered to and maintained
  • to ensure no shortfalls in raw materials to keep production running
  • be competent in carrying out manual handling tasks
