Responsibility

  • general handyman duties
  • carrying out planned and responsive maintenance and checks of the care home and grounds
  • reviewing maintenance of the care home and ground anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner
  • maintaining all required documentation
  • completing fire safety and water temperature checks
  • equipment safety checks
  • to attend staff meetings and training

Requirements

  • must Drive and have your own car
  • flexibility - ability to work evenings and weekends on rotation if required
  • organised and responsible
  • ability to cope under pressure
  • an ability to problem solve
  • awareness of Health and Safety
  • maintenance: 4 years
  • must be fully vaccinated
