- collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute banqueting menus in accordance with client requirements, ensuring creativity, quality, and variety
- oversee all aspects of banqueting food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation, to ensure the highest level of culinary excellence
- manage inventory levels, monitor food costs, and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain budgetary targets without compromising quality
- maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- stay updated with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and industry developments, incorporating them into menu planning and presentation
- as the Head Banqueting Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional banqueting services and ensuring the highest standards of food quality for our esteemed guests
- lead and inspire a team of chefs, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and promote a fun work environment
- collaborate with the wedding & events team to understand clients' needs, handle special requests, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the wedding & events experience
Requirements
- proven experience as a Banqueting Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
- strong culinary skills with expertise in banqueting and large-scale food production
- creative flair and the ability to design innovative and visually appealing banquet menus
