Responsibility
- undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments within clinic, home or schools for children with a wide range of needs
- identifying and facilitating group sessions for children within school
- create and deliver individual intervention programmes based on assessment provided including smart goals and review process
- liaison with SENCOs, Teachers and Parents in relation to support provided
- facilitating Occupational Therapy groups over school holidays
- delegating suitable tasks to an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- providing assessment and intervention to children within schools with a range of handwriting, coordination, fine and gross motor, concentration and sensory difficulties
- completing professional Occupational Therapy reports following assessment with comprehensive evaluation and analysis of need and providing outcome objectives and recommendations for the child and family
