Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • to manage a 22 bed residential home, in Kings Norton
  • to take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the Home and the general well-being of Service Users and Staff Members
  • to ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements, are adhered to within the defined timescales
  • practise maximum integrity in all dealings with Service Users’ personal and financial affairs, and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship which exists with service users

Requirements

  • previous Management/supervisory experience
  • care for the elderly experience/qualification
  • registered Manager’s Award , or equivalent qualification
  • minimum three years management/supervisory experience
  • ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • full driving licence
  • genuine interest in working with the relevant client group
  • satisfactory Police check and check against the DBS
