Responsibility

  • project and ad hoc work as required including implementation of full SAP in 2024
  • support and liaise with Group treasury regarding big ticket spend and banking arrangements
  • delivery of monthly management accounts and group reporting from ERP system with the consolidation of foreign subsidiary results to meet agreed deadlines
  • own the General Ledger, taking responsibility for understanding all postings whether from invoice, journal, cash posting including managing relationship with Brady Shared Service centre in India responsible for Accounts Payable and some General Ledger Activity
  • deal with local tax issues, compliance and reporting, with support of Group Tax. This will include VAT for UK and Germany and Corporation Tax in UK and Germany
  • provide cover for other roles within the finance function
