Responsibility
- design & Development fasteners for Global usage
- co-ordinating design, drawings feasibility from CAD resource to manufacturing feasibility
- co-ordinate commercial RFQ handling
- project management global launches incl APQP, PO tracking, PPAP status reporting, etc
- maintenance of Bill Of Materials
- rationalise usages across similar end product architects
- on-site representation in PD and for quality/technical issues
- TVM idea generation and implementation
Requirements
- higher Educational studies in Engineering
- comprehensive understanding of Fastener Engineering and Design principles
- automotive Fastener design & application principles
- understanding of computer-assisted design software i.e. 3D CAD
- able to work without supervision
- engineering background
- familiar with Industry Fastener Standards
- team Player
Contract type
- £25,000- £30,000 per annum with benefits
