Responsibility

  • design & Development fasteners for Global usage
  • co-ordinating design, drawings feasibility from CAD resource to manufacturing feasibility
  • co-ordinate commercial RFQ handling
  • project management global launches incl APQP, PO tracking, PPAP status reporting, etc
  • maintenance of Bill Of Materials
  • rationalise usages across similar end product architects
  • on-site representation in PD and for quality/technical issues
  • TVM idea generation and implementation

Requirements

  • higher Educational studies in Engineering
  • comprehensive understanding of Fastener Engineering and Design principles
  • automotive Fastener design & application principles
  • understanding of computer-assisted design software i.e. 3D CAD
  • able to work without supervision
  • engineering background
  • familiar with Industry Fastener Standards
  • team Player

Contract type

  • £25,000- £30,000 per annum with benefits
