Responsibility
- to ensure planning and observations are being completed and targets are being met by all staff
- to take responsibilities of nursery projects i.e lead practitioners and role model for other staff members
- to deputise as person in charge in the absence of the nursery manager
- to support the designated safeguarding person and/or be the designated safeguarding person
- to observe and be responsible for the monitoring of students and/or work experience people
- to work with management and attend management meetings
- title: Deputy Manager
- to assist and take lead responsibility for the planning of the curriculum, i.e. Weekly plans and to monitor the effectiveness of the Nursery curriculum
Requirements
- to work in a team with the manager and other team leaders and staff
- to liaise with parents as required
- to liaise with the site agent or cleaning staff as required
- childcare: 2 years
- take responsibility, along with other staff, for the health & Safety, Accident prevention and smooth running of emergency procedure for both children and other members of staff
