Responsibility
- perform plastering tasks including applying and finishing coats of plaster on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents
- install metal stud framing and trim carpentry as needed
- read blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
- operate heavy equipment such as scaffolding and lifts to access high areas
- repair and restore damaged plaster surfaces
- collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects
Requirements
- proficient in plastering techniques and methods
- knowledge of metal stud framing and trim carpentry
- ability to read blueprints and schematics
- experience operating heavy equipment for accessing high areas
- familiarity with stucco application is a plus
- detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship
- strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during projects
