Requirements
- electronic component level troubleshooting/repair experience
- experience in soldering/de-soldering through-hole and surface mount technology
- excellent verbal and written communication and technical writing skills
- strong attention to detail
- excellent organizational skills
- experience in a high technology repair manufacturing environment a plus
- ability to operate electronics-related test equipment such as multi-meters, microscopes, and test fixtures
- ability to work independently utilizing strong time management skills
Responsibility
- troubleshoot, repair and test complex circuit boards to component-level
- solder and de-solder various circuit boards
- ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and diagnostic manuals
- use database systems to complete RMA’s, customer orders and inventory transactions
- ability to communicate with internal and external customers to attain hardware specifics
