Responsibility
- supporting the design, installation, supply and maintenance of PLC/HMI based industrial inspection solutions
- you will have a unique opportunity to take the role in the direction in which it needs to go
- repair, maintenance, design and installation of PLC/HMI based inspection solutions
- we want you to contribute ideas, develop new ways of working and share your expertise across the business
- supporting existing installations through service visits
- we’ll want you to contribute ideas, develop new ways of working and share your expertise across the business
- backup all PLC, HMI software, EIP networks and associated inspection equipment as part of service visits
- make modifications to PLC programs & HMI configuration to correct issues, improve and optimise system performance
Requirements
- self-motivated, committed and highly organised
- good communication skills and computer literate
- detailed knowledge and understanding of PLCs, further knowledge of Omron would be an advantage
- fault finding and problem-solving skills
- detailed knowledge of industrial vision systems & barcode reading systems
- detailed knowledge and understanding of PLC’s, further knowledge of Omron would be an advantage
- mechanical, electrical or software engineering experience
- experience shall include technical understanding of ladder logic programming, function block programming, HMI configuration, Ethernet I/P configuration and networks
