Responsibility

  • supporting the design, installation, supply and maintenance of PLC/HMI based industrial inspection solutions
  • you will have a unique opportunity to take the role in the direction in which it needs to go
  • repair, maintenance, design and installation of PLC/HMI based inspection solutions
  • we want you to contribute ideas, develop new ways of working and share your expertise across the business
  • supporting existing installations through service visits
  • we’ll want you to contribute ideas, develop new ways of working and share your expertise across the business
  • backup all PLC, HMI software, EIP networks and associated inspection equipment as part of service visits
  • make modifications to PLC programs & HMI configuration to correct issues, improve and optimise system performance

Requirements

  • self-motivated, committed and highly organised
  • good communication skills and computer literate
  • detailed knowledge and understanding of PLCs, further knowledge of Omron would be an advantage
  • fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • detailed knowledge of industrial vision systems & barcode reading systems
  • detailed knowledge and understanding of PLC’s, further knowledge of Omron would be an advantage
  • mechanical, electrical or software engineering experience
  • experience shall include technical understanding of ladder logic programming, function block programming, HMI configuration, Ethernet I/P configuration and networks
