Responsibility
- someone with experience in District Heating or deep utilities such as Gas or Water is ideal
- to control and manage the onsite construction activities to meet the requirements of the Contract and Project Manager/s and the customer
- our Client within the Private Sector is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join their team as soon as possible to help oversee District Heating Projects in North London
- meet contractual conditions of performance
- this is a full time, permanent position and the ideal candidate a strong background in groundworks, who has worked for a civil engineering company with experience of delivering projects successfully
- and administer in accordance with the companies IMS requirements
- our client requires someone with experience in traffic management and who is forward thinking making sure the job is completed safely and efficiently
- maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Requirements
- site Management Safety Training Scheme or similar approved
- construction Skills Certification Scheme , Site Manager level would be considered an advantage
- experience in deep utilities; District Heating is preferable however, Gas and Water are also accepted
- proven experience as a Site Manager
- understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and legislation
- experience in installation and maintenance of Temporary Works
- able to understand and communicate safe systems of work including method statements and risk assessments and COSHH risk assessments
- ability to work to prioritise effectively
