Responsibility

  • working in a care home in south Derbyshire, alongside increase in staffing levels, due to increasing residency
  • working in a care home accommodating people living with Dementia, Sensory Impairments and/or Physical Limitations
  • supporting people living with Dementia, Sensory Impairments and/or Physical disabilities
  • motivating people to enjoy recreational pursuits of their choosing during the day
  • motivating, enabling and assisting people to enjoy recreational pursuits of their choosing during the day
  • working with groups or providing support on a one-to-one basis
  • overseeing activities, games and providing companionship and company
  • overseeing activities for example, games, quizzes, exercise and providing companionship to read, talk, write letters
