- JOB TITLE - Functional Skills Tutor
- LOCATION - Kent and surrounding areas
- to contribute to curriculum development through the design and delivery of appropriate delivery models and schemes of work
- to plan learning activities per the delivery model, ensuring quality and flexibility to meet learner needs
- to follow the initial assessment process accurately to ensure learners are studying at the right level
- to offer good information, advice and guidance to learners
- to deliver course inductions
- to ensure completions are timely and of the required standard
Requirements
- teaching qualification – minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- ability to teach maths and English Functional Skills from Entry Level to Level 2
- ability to teach Digital Skills or willingness to learn
- ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- excellent organisational skills
- ability to work under own initiative and prioritise tasks
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- flexible and adaptable
