Requirements
- must have 2 years of forklift experience
- previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good attention to detail
- good communication skills
- basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting
- awareness of Health and Safety regulations, including manual handling
- able to use initiative and identify issues at work and suggest options for improvement
Responsibility
- full time 37 hours per week Standard hours of Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm, Overtime may be required during busy
- loading and unloading trailers and containers, both with FLT and manually
- operate a forklift to load/unload trucks
- pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy
- palletising goods from containers and moving into the correct locations in the warehouse
- labelling, scanning and wrapping pallets
- maintain safe and secure work environment by keeping equipment/trucks/vending area clean and organized
