Responsibility
- prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary
- mix plaster according to specifications for consistency and application
- apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to achieve the desired finish
- repair existing plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks
- collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers and carpenters to ensure project requirements are met
- maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
Requirements
- proven experience in plastering or related fields such as masonry or bricklaying is essential
- familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plastering work is required
- experience in welding or roofing is considered an advantage but not mandatory
- strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications accurately
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
