Responsibility

  • establish and maintain relationships with owners
  • to oversee/ maintain the care of residents within the Care Home
  • take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Home
  • provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance functions of the Care Home
  • we are looking for a passionate caring individual to join our 19 bedded Residential Home as a Care Home Manager who will provide support and leadership to the Care Home staff, engendering a culture of resident focus and quality of service
  • to maintain care and management skills at a current level, and undertake any required training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
  • to manage the services within the Care Home in accordance with standards agreed, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practice

Requirements

  • level 5 in Health and Social Care Management
  • previous management/supervisory experience
  • ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A good working knowledge of the relevant policies, procedures & legislation relating to adult social care
  • genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
  • satisfactory DBS check
  • ability to prioritise work
