Responsibility
- § Attend client meetings and tastings, with preparations made for budgeting and logistics, purchasing and client special requirements
- § Remain actively involved in menu development and maintaining updated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared
- § Determine food presentation alongside Development and Executive Chefs

- § Ensure proper purchasing, receiving and food storage standards in the kitchens
- § Overseeing all event preparations and upcoming projects within the business. Responsibilities for this will include hiring, training, setup of venue, menus, costings and any other tasks as required
- § Ensuring sufficient staffing levels are scheduled to accommodate business demands
- § Administer the training, development and motivation to the kitchen teams in order to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis
- § Kitchen admin, rostering, stock reconciliation and overall kitchen cost control, maintaining KPIs
- § Ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to the correct business policies
- § Remain aware of food trends and what’s popular in the culinary world, tailoring menus to suit
- § Perform additional duties as requested by the business as and when required
- § Maintain a thorough understanding of employee positions well enough to perform duties in employee’s absence or determine appropriate replacement of fill gaps
Requirements
- § Utilise interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence kitchen staff
- § Effectively manage own workload unsupervised and deliver to key deadlines as necessary
- § Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time

- § Experience in a Michelin Star Kitchen
- § Display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management
