Responsibility

  • build and maintain WordPress websites for LunarWP and its clients, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, security, and usability
  • use Elementor extensively to create and customise web pages, tailoring designs to client specifications and optimising for user experience
  • implement website updates, enhancements, and improvements as needed, proactively identifying areas for optimisation and growth
  • ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines, maintaining open communication, and providing exceptional support
  • write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the websites
  • conduct thorough testing to ensure websites function properly across different browsers and devices, implementing security measures to protect against vulnerabilities
  • troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly, utilising a strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and Elementor to diagnose and fix problems efficiently
  • collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective website development, participating in team meetings, contributing ideas for process improvements, and mentoring junior developers as needed

Requirements

  • open to learning new frameworks and WordPress tools

  • self-sufficient and able to properly manage one’s own time
  • well-organized and able to maintain a task management system that can be observed and understood by our Account Managers
  • proficiency in WordPress development and extensive experience with the Elementor page builder, including a strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
