Responsibility

  • prepare and portion meat products according to customers requirements
  • learn to cut, trim, and bone meat using proper techniques and equipment
  • will be shown proper storage and handling of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
  • provide high standard of service to the customers on the butchery counter
  • the butchery at Ludlow farm Shop has won many awards for the quality of its products, the way it manages the meat and the service it provides to its customers
  • will be shown how to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the Butchery areas
  • providing top quality meat, fantastic displays and detailed knowledge to help our customers make the best choices is key, so is having highly skilled butchers
  • over the years we have passed our knowledge onto many butchers, all who started as apprentices, providing them with a set of skills and ethos that they will have for life
