Responsibility
- we’re looking for a full time bar manager to head up the team at Lucky Liquor on Queen Street in Edinburgh
- lead a bar team through service
- lead the creation of our drinks menus in collaboration with the bar team and our production crew at Mothership
- set and maintain standards in both front- and back-of-house
- deliver the highest levels of customer service to exceed our guests’ expectations
- since opening in 2013, Lucky Liquor has gained a reputation as an engine of relentless innovation amongst Scottish cocktail bars and our next bar manager will be expected to maintain and grow that reputation
- take responsibility for ordering and stock control, and for identifying products to stock across all categories
- they’ll be charged with leading a team of enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative bartenders to deliver high standards of customer service and setting a warm, welcoming, and fun atmosphere to help our guests have the best time while they’re with us
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting
- strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology techniques, and drink recipes
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- supervising experience: 1 year
