fabricator welder

  • fabricator welder
  • labourer

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • read and interpret CAD drawings and welding process specifications
  • perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and occasionally Stick welding
  • operate cutting torches and electric power tools to cut and shape metal
  • operate guillotine, folder, press brake
  • site maintenance including regular service contracts
  • installation on site of fabricated steps, platforms and other steelwork
  • inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to standards
  • installation and welding of pipework on site

Requirements

  • MIG welding: 3 years
  • fabrication: 2 years
  • TIG welding: 1 year
