Responsibility

  • prepare and distribute agenda and take minutes and actions at the monthly Consultants Meeting
  • take minutes at the monthly Management Meeting, updating the Action Tracker
  • arranging Zoom and Teams calls
  • manage and schedule the annual cycle for Board Meetings, Investment Committee Meetings, Management Meetings, Consultancy Meetings and Financial Planning Forum Meetings
  • understanding the MDs tasks and projects and maintaining his ‘To Do’ list
  • collate and circulate Board papers in a timely fashion, take minutes and actions at the monthly Board Meeting and any other related meetings such as AGM, Strategy Days etc
  • answer incoming letters and produce routine reply correspondence, scanning to the appropriate filing systems where applicable
  • support with drafting the bi-weekly Comms email

senior paraplanner

Responsibility

  • responsibility for training, coaching and mentoring all Paraplanners and Technicians including induction training, ongoing training and support
  • responsibility for managing process, tasks and ensuring conformity with FCA and compliance rules
  • carrying out necessary technical research and analysis to support the Financial Advisers and meet client needs and objectives
  • preparing cashflow modelling reports to assist with client retirement planning
  • contributing to the review, enhancement and streamlining of technical research, report writing processes, systems and procedures to increase efficiencies in the team
  • maintaining a good understanding of products across the UK marketplace along with up-to-date knowledge of budget, legislative, industry or compliance changes, and responsibility for updating suitability letter templates and cascading the relevant information, as necessary
  • ensuring fact finds and client records contain sufficient Know Your Client information to demonstrate suitability of the advice, and that they are accurate and up to date
  • keep up-to-date with compliance changes and update Suitability Report templates accordingly
