Responsibility
- we are seeking a passionate and experienced Optometrist to join a dynamic team in London
- this position is full-time but open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate, allowing for flexibility to accommodate your work-life balance
- as an Optometrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments as needed
- prescription and Treatment: Diagnose vision problems and prescribe appropriate corrective lenses, contact lenses, or therapeutic treatments as required
- patient Consultations: Provide detailed explanations of eye conditions, test results, and treatment options to patients, addressing their questions and concerns
- contact Lens Fitting: Conduct contact lens assessments, fittings, and follow-up appointments, ensuring proper lens selection and patient comfort
- disease Detection: Identify and manage eye diseases and conditions, referring patients to specialists when necessary
- record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including examination notes and treatment plans
Requirements
- qualified Optometrist: Must hold a valid optometry degree and be registered with the General Optical Council
- clinical Expertise: Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose eye conditions
- communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex eye-related issues
