Working hours

Responsibility

  • the working hours are Sunday to Thursday 8am – 6pm
  • the ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing fresh food, keen to learn, diligent and thorough
  • receive deliveries, stock and label
  • following the recipes, washing, chopping and further preparing ingredients for processing
  • following the detailed health and safety guidelines in preparing, labelling and storing food
  • maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen at all times
  • A great full-time opportunity for a healthy food enthusiast in a role of Kitchen Porter You will be working with a sustainable ethical brand, quality suppliers and the freshest produce to prepare, label and package nutritionally balanced salads and meals for a grab and go concept
  • understand and be confident working with allergens, following kitchens standards in handling fresh and raw food as well as allergens

Requirements

  • proven experience in the kitchen as a kitchen porter
  • knowledge of health and safety rules in commercial kitchen
  • able to operate kitchen equipment and kitchen utensils, knife skills
  • team player with good communication skills
