Responsibility
- managing and organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehoused goods
- dealing with various deliveries making sure the warehouse team are loading and unloading in a safe and correct manner
- liaising with the fabric scheduler and inventory control department regarding stock / products
- ensuring all the recycling from all Louvolite site are recycled correctly and empty cages are returned to the correct site
- checking for damaged shipments and reporting any discrepancies
- full stock takes, including rolling stock checks
- organising the stores reports (roller, vertical, pleated, Canada and Australia
- manage the Health and Safety of the Warehouse
Requirements
- A forklift licence and ideally experience on a Bendi FLT and Counter Balance FLT
- able to work to time sensitive deadlines and prioritise work
- experience of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
- enthusiasm, commitment, and the ability to respond positively to changing demands
- A tidy and organised approach to work and the work environment
- computer Literacy
- A team player with a positive attitude with a hands-on approach
- strong decision making and problem-solving skills
