Responsibility
- lead, mentor and develop a team of 8-10 across Goods In, Stores, Import & Export Administrative Staff, teams leader and Drivers
- full autonomy to improve and implement new efficiencies across the Warehouse and Inventory space
- have full ownership of the Warehouse and Inventory space working closely with the Supply Chain Manager
- analyse data and be able to feed back to key internal stakeholders via reports and presentations
- A key relationship builder - both internally and externally - able to have tough conversations where needed
- lead cross functional meetings to review and feedback on current trends
- drive continuous improvement across all areas of the function
Requirements
- experience with managing and building successful warehouse and logistics teams
- knowledge of WMS or MRP systems
- knowledge and experience within a similar Warehouse/Logistics function within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- experience of organising and coordinating Goods In/Out and Stores, together with international Import and Export procedures
- attention to detail and extremely strong communication skills
