Working hours

Responsibility

  • use simple hand tools and hand-held power tools to cut, fabricate, and weld parts and components
  • must have at least 2 years experience in structure steel fabrication
  • must have knowledge to use punch machine and fork truck use
  • set up welding equipment and operate a plasma cutting machine
  • set up an assembly line to fabricate production parts
  • use simple mathematical techniques and geometry to measure, cut, fit, bend, form and join parts of various sizes and contours
  • read blueprints and other technical drawings
