Responsibility

  • conduct outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads, introducing them to our solar products and services
  • engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their energy needs and explain how our solar solutions can benefit them
  • effectively articulate the value proposition of our solar products, highlighting cost-saving benefits, environmental advantages, and potential incentives
  • handle objections and concerns with professionalism and use persuasive techniques to encourage customer interest and set up appointments
  • book qualified appointments for our solar consultants to conduct in-home or virtual consultations
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system
  • collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts and follow up on marketing campaigns
  • stay up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and competitor offerings to effectively address customer inquiries

Requirements

  • proven experience in telesales, appointment setting, or outbound call center roles is preferred
  • knowledge of solar energy products and services, as well as the renewable energy industry, is a plus
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers
  • strong persuasive and negotiation skills to overcome objections and convert leads into appointments
  • goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads and track sales progress
  • outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
  • flexibility to adapt to changing processes, strategies, and market trends
