you will work closely with the festival organisers and partners to ensure effective communication and engagement with the media
as the Freelance PR, your role will involve managing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy to promote the festival and maximise media coverage
create two engaging press releases/announcements with the aim of promoting the Programme Announcement. These releases should target trade publications to generate interest and awareness about the festival
prepare an end-of-campaign overall report summarizing the achieved coverage, key metrics, and recommendations for future improvements
secure interviews, reviews, and listings in online publications focused on culture, art and entertainment

Requirements
proven experience in PR and media relations, preferably within the film or entertainment industry
strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging press releases and effectively engage with media professionals
extensive knowledge of UK media outlets, particularly mainstream, entertainment, film, and ethnic media
excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
experience in managing media enquiries, facilitating interviews, and building relationships with journalists, critics, and influencers
familiarity with the London Korean Film Festival or a strong interest in Korean cinema is desirable but not essential
self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
public relations: 2 years
