Responsibility
- logs Direct is a family run business processing and packaging logs for both commercial and domestic markets. We are seeking an enthusiastic log production/machine operative to join our small friendly team in Halton
- the successful candidate must have a good eye for detail and commitment to meeting order deadlines whilst ensuring consistent quality of firewood produced
- experience of running large machines is preferable but not essential providing the successful candidate has the drive to learn new skills. Full training will be given but holding current Telehandler and forklift certification would be beneficial
- this is a full time permanent position with some Saturday work will being required as and when needed, to cover demands of the business in peak season
- this role may include: operating machinery packing logs, preparing orders for dispatch, loading wagons plus other yard related work
