Responsibility
- responsibility for 6 sites. A visit at least once per month to each site. Predominantly based at Nottingham Head Office
- communicate from directors to operatives the best practice possible
- identify and proceed with projects across the operations
- create and maintain RA & SSOW Registers
- conduct and or assist in the training of all operational/transport staff
- create and maintain Health & Safety training plans
- be the focal point for all Incident/accident investigations and any ongoing processes
- ensure that all sites and all operational/transport activities are covered by the relevant Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
Requirements
- clear experience in a Health & safety management role
- the ability to communicate with directors and operatives alike
- outstanding communication and presentation skills
- NEBOSH / IOSH trained
- ISO knowledge
- ideally RTIIB trained / ISTAR trained
- commutable daily to Nottingham
- 2 years + in a logistics environment is essential
