Requirements
- must have an awareness of maintenance activities including PPM
- be Computer literate
- have good practical skills
- have close attention to detail
- have an awareness of surroundings and be Health & Safety conscious
- have the ability to focus for long periods of time
- must have completed at least one year of a Mechanical or Electrical qualification with a willingness to progress to Level 3
- have the ability to follow instructions
Responsibility
- adherence to safe working practices
- assisting in, and learning all aspects of engineering either mechanical or electrical
- shadowing Engineers as necessary to gain the experience and knowledge required ensuring a timely response to breakdowns
- learning high quality maintenance and repair within an AD plant
- A proactive approach to learning so as to improve machinery efficiency and effectiveness
- carry out/assist with installation of new plant onsite
- assist in ensuring stock levels are maintained to a reasonable economic level, learning the common failure parts and assist in identifying parts required
