Responsibility
- overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nursery
- achieving and maintaining our very high standards of care and education
- guiding our staff team including providing day to day guidance, training and support to all practitioners
- ensuring all policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times
- overseeing the planning in the rooms
- meeting the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements, Compliance with all regulatory requirements etc
Requirements
- have a minimum of NNEB, NVQ/CACHE Level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification
- have a proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar management role
- possess an excellent knowledge of the Ofsted and Welfare and Safeguarding Requirements
- demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS and key person system
- have a good understanding of how to create engaging and challenging learning environments for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers
- have excellent communication skills and be a strong leader as well as a team player
- be energetic, proactive, self-motivated and have attention for detail
