Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- weekly shifts Monday - Friday
- responsible for the efficient day-to-day running, updating registers and policies for the nursery
- ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children and staff
- establishing and maintaining high standards of care and education
- delivering high-quality service throughout the day to our children and their parents
- developing and maintaining professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments and regulatory bodies
- ensuring nursery plans are based on Early Years Foundation and meet Ofsted requirements at all times while following Little Strawberries standards and policies
Requirements
- A childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 or above
- knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years
- managerial or supervisory experience in delivering services to young children is preferred, but we'll provide training if required
- nursery: 5 years
- childcare: 2 years
- management: 2 years
