Responsibility
- provide leadership and guidance to a team of nursery staff members
- plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the nursery
- ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery at all times
- maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- collaborate with other nursery room leaders and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
Requirements
- minimum 2 years experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- paediatric First Aid certification required
- minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification essential
- childcare: 1 year
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
