Responsibility
- life-guarding activities as directed
- to always be observant of surroundings, ensuring strict guidelines are followed
- maintain up to date knowledge on SOP's/ Risk Assessments and H & S procedures
- attend any weekly/ monthly training required to ensure qualifications are valid and kept up to date
- providing safety briefs and instructions to all guests at the start of each activity and ensuring instructions and rules are adhered to though-out the activity
- connect with customers to encourage repeat visits and always deliver excellent customer service
- ensuring all areas of the park are maintained and presented to the highest level at all times, including housekeeping
- to conduct yourself in a professional and customer focused manner at all times ensuring that all staff members are complying with company standards
Requirements
- experience in leisure would be preferable but not essential
- first Aid qualification, training could be offered if not
- strong, confident open water swimmer
- lifeguard qualification preferable RLSS / Training again will be offered as essential for this role
- the role will involve life-guarding of specific aqua activities as mentioned to ensure the smooth running of all water activities offered
- administrating first aid and and when required, completing the necessary report inline with policies and procedures
- maintaining high standards of the park land-side, including cleanliness, safety and set up of equipment
- uses industry knowledge to ensure all staff members offer an excellent customer focused experience
