Requirements

  • must have at least 5 years experience in warehouse / production management
  • five years of experience in warehousing and supply chain logistics
  • preferably qualifications in Production and Inventory Management or Level 3 or Level 5 Certificate in Operations Management
  • expertise in production / warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • experience with lean manufacturing, process flow and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • strong knowledge of production / warehouse Key Performance Indicators
  • preferably any experience should be within the food or specific egg industry, although we will consider candidates from any industry that demonstrate good experience with a developed career in production / warehouse management and managing a high volume production facility

hgv driver

Responsibility

  • ensure goods are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
  • ensure with Transport Manager and Loader that the load is correct against the customers’ orders
  • check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and print
  • provide excellent customer service
  • handle customer issues on delivery effectively and contact Transport Manager for assistance if required
  • carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
  • drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
  • drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits

Education

  • basic numeracy & literacy
  • must have at least two years HGV driving experience, hold a clean driving licence and a current drivers qualification card

Requirements

  • current CPC
  • experience of multi-drop deliveries
  • class 1
  • current Forklift Certificate
  • all legal requirements to be met fully
  • consideration for other road users and members of the public
  • clear and accurate completion of tachograph records, manual entries and defect reports
  • vehicle to be always operated within relevant speed and weight limits
