lintz Hall Farm are looking to recruit a Packing Centre Operative to work in our Packing Centre, working as part of a team on our new egg grading production line equipment to pack eggs to fulfil orders
palletising finished product

Requirements
must have at least 5 years experience in warehouse / production management
five years of experience in warehousing and supply chain logistics
preferably qualifications in Production and Inventory Management or Level 3 or Level 5 Certificate in Operations Management
expertise in production / warehouse management procedures and best practices
experience with lean manufacturing, process flow and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
strong knowledge of production / warehouse Key Performance Indicators
preferably any experience should be within the food or specific egg industry, although we will consider candidates from any industry that demonstrate good experience with a developed career in production / warehouse management and managing a high volume production facility

Responsibility
ensure goods are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
ensure with Transport Manager and Loader that the load is correct against the customers’ orders
check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and print
provide excellent customer service
handle customer issues on delivery effectively and contact Transport Manager for assistance if required
carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits
Education
basic numeracy & literacy
must have at least two years HGV driving experience, hold a clean driving licence and a current drivers qualification card
Requirements
current CPC
experience of multi-drop deliveries
class 1
current Forklift Certificate
all legal requirements to be met fully
consideration for other road users and members of the public
clear and accurate completion of tachograph records, manual entries and defect reports
