Responsibility
- work remotely from home and travel for in-person assessments
- conduct comprehensive assessments of sensory processing and integration in children and young people
- provide detailed reports suitable for EHCP applications and reviews
- deliver interventions to support physical, sensory, and cognitive development
- collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy
- provide training and advice to schools to support inclusive practices
- monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
Requirements
- bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- specialised training and experience in sensory integration therapy
- minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and keep to deadline
