Responsibility
- ensure the team understand and adhere to the Company’s health and safety procedures and guidelines
- carry out investigations through to conclusion for safety, quality, performance
- be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team
- ensure all production KPI’s and deadlines are met
- ensure employees are fully trained on new and existing machinery and standard operating procedures to guarantee consistent high-quality standards
- work alongside the wider management team to continuously improve productivity and processes in all areas
- ensure the effective control of stock in the department through adherence to the production plan
- support the maintenance of all machinery and tooling and use technical knowledge to problem solve any arising issues
Requirements
- excellent organisational skills
- good communication skills
- strong leadership skills and proven experience in a management role
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily targets
- problem solving skills including technical
- practical experience of working to H&S and Environmental regulations
