Responsibility
- liaise with other sections of the business to ensure smooth transition and production of parts
- in line with continued growth and investment Linell Precision Engineering seek to recruit a skilled Industrial Engineer / Offline CNC-CAM Programmer with previous experience in producing programs for Multi-Axis CNC Milling and Turning
- take responsibility for own programs and methods used, while considering new methods/tooling/work holding
- generation of work packs and operation instructions for communication of job requirements to operators
- ensure that internal procedures and objectives are adhered to in order to meet the quality standard of the business in accordance with ISO9001 and any other product certification requirement
- complete daily programming tasks within the programming dept, while following the procedures in place to ensure the continued performance of the dept
- optimise productivity to meet production KPI’s and help drive reduction in cost of quality across the business
Requirements
- previous offline CNC Programming experience utilising Mastercam CAD/CAM is essential
- proficient in CAD Software for 2D and 3D modelling
- ability to interpret engineering drawings, 3D Models and customer specifications
- A understanding of Fanuc & HAAS CNC Controls
- experience working with Exotic materials commonly used in Energy / Oil & Gas Sectors
- assisting within the Engineering & Quality dept to achieve key deliverables including problem solving / Root Cause Analysis
- CAM CNC Programing: 3 years
- working knowledge ERP software is desirable
