Responsibility
- timely installation of solar PV bracketry to different roof types
- work safely at heights
- work to building regulations
- fitting materials to ensure the roof is fully weatherproof
- estimate the type and amount of materials needed to do the job
- support on site with additional tasks as required for example site safety, risk management, tidying up
- working within a team of engineers and supporting with cable runs as required
Requirements
- full Driving Licence
- working at heights certificate
- health and Safety ticket
- roofing experience – 3 years plus – repairing and working on a variety of roofs – slates, tiles, new and old roofs, pitched and flat
- the ideal candidate will be passionate about climate change and have experience in the installation of Solar PV bracketry and be a competent roofer. The candidate should also be a good team player and be eager to learn
- solar PV bracketry installation: 1 year plus
- roofing: 3 years
- level 2 NVQ Diploma in Roofing Occupations
