Responsibility
- for the right candidate, this role will offer an opportunity to progress to a senior management level within the company
- hands-on manager, leading the workforce from the front on the production shopfloor
- lead your team to deliver against operational KPI’s including OEE optimisation, and quality
- work with the Directors on forecasting and planning to agree, review, and challenge the production plans
- lily-Flame Candles are looking for someone to oversee our small team and manage the daily production of our Scented Candles and other Home Fragrance products
- ensure Standard Operational Procedures are up to date, fit for purpose and trained/briefed to your teams
- maximise productivity - reviewing operating hours and monitoring efficiencies to make improvements
- drive health and safety best practice in your areas of responsibility and manage your team so that HSE principles are always complied with
Requirements
- reasonably technically minded, with a functional knowledge in manufacturing processes
- management or Supervisory experience in Manufacturing
- excellent communication skills
- to act as a problem solver
- excellent time management
- excellent attention to detail
- experience of Fork Lift handling an advantage
