Working hours

Responsibility

  • organise and coordinate weekly, rotas and Care Services
  • ensure that the care worker rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned to consider travel time and routes

  • work with recruitment personnel to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels
  • dealing with queries from clients and families in a calm and professional manner
  • plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker

  • liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care

Requirements

  • you must have good IT, communication and office skills
  • full, valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • previous experience in the care industry is preferable but not required
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of people using a variety of communication methods
  • provide a high-quality service to customers
  • have obtained Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be prepared to complete Level 4/5
  • willing and able to complete care calls if and when required - please note that this may often be outside of usual office hours
