Responsibility
- support worker to work in semi - independent accommodation for young people aged 16-21
- the Post
- as a support worker we require the workers to be flexible, Literate and numerate, creative and dynamic, and it is essential that they have good communication skills
- experience of working with Vulnerable Children/Young Adults minimum of 2 years and have relevant qualifications within this field
- having knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, person centred planning and the needs of Children with Learning Disabilities/Mental health
- candidates are to be aware of the Quality of care standards for Semi-Independence provisions and the working together to safeguard children 2018
- to undertake administrative duties as required such as daily logs and all other relevant documentations that need to be completed
- ensure that accurate reporting and recording of all relative information is maintained at the highest level in accordance with policy documents standards
