I was scammed by him in the past (my review about that is here)
Due to his fraudulent antics, he has changed his business name to Northern Lights Electricals on instagram it is @northernlightselectricals_1
He now thinks he has a clean slate but do not be fooled, it is the same Joseph Blundell from Light Haus
PLEASE AVOID THIS LOW LIFE!
He is a scammer. 1 star is a star too May for this one. Paid him £100 via bank transfer which was a deposit on colour changing outdoor lights. . Never showed up. Multiple excuses and still waiting on return of deposit. Lights were for my disabled son who has severe autism and is non verbal but very sensory. Pure low life, his family must be ashamed of him.
This man shouldn’t even be trading as his company was dissolved in 2023.
Our experience with this electrician was extremely disappointing. The work carried out was incomplete for first fix and of poor quality (need to be corrected by our new electrician). When asked about the timeline for completion, he kept giving excuses and failed to deliver as agreed. When concerns were raised about the quality and delays, he was not even bothered to provide a proper explanation. Upon requesting a refund, he showed no willingness to resolve the matter, and when we advised that we would pursue the issue in court, his response was simply, “see you in court.”
We subsequently had to engage another professional to correct the work, incurring additional costs and delays. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this electrician and strongly advise others to exercise caution before hiring.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of using Lighthaus Liverpool. We paid for work that was never carried out, and despite being promised a refund many times, it has not been returned. I know of others on our estate who’ve had the same issue. Please be cautious before handing over money.

Had him out in April after he cancelled multiple appointments. He put 2 sets of lights on 1 switch, even though I paid for 2. He promised to return but since has been ignoring messages. Not finished the job or returned my money. Avoid him!

We had outdoor lights done by him and planned the following day to have under cupboard kitchen lights fitted. Completed outdoor lights which we were happy with, and gave us a positive opinion about him, however no showed multiple times for the under cupboard lights (NEVER COMPLETED) with bad excuses… kept our money despite saying he’d refund which is disgusting
Don’t recommend him at all, bad experience, unprofessional individual and only cares about taking money off customers knowing he can’t be bothered to do the job that was paid for.
Avoid this man at all cost - he is a cowboy and a liar
quotes for work then never returns to complete, even though paid upfront in goodwill on his promise to return to complete
His word means nothing as he tells lies constantly
blocks and ignores any contact - which shows the level of this cowboy
A real business man would answer the customer and complete work agreed when already paid - to protect reputation
Always wants cash payment - so tax avoidance as company dissolved on companies house so a sole trader avoiding tax
his number of followers change constantly on Insta when you look at the followers they look dodgy and obviously he is buying followers
Do not do business with him he is a dodgy rip off merchant of the highest standard
Currently having to pay someone else to fix and complete his work not completed
Avoid this man and his company. I had work completed buy him in 2021 and was more than happy with the service. I had work done by him this month as needed and EV charger fitted. He wasnt the cheapest but because we had used him before i trusted him. The charger didnt work after several promises that he would be back we had to another company in and has to pay double the price to fix what he had done. He eventually got in touch and agreed to give us some of our money back but are still waiting and he is ignorong out messages again. I put a review on his social
Media and straight away deleted it. Avoid at all
