Working hours
- full-time | Part-time | Permanent
Education
- remaining awake throughout the night to support the young people as required
- carrying out and recording regular checks on the young people throughout the night
- responding appropriately, based on regulations, policy and guidance, to any incidents which occur on the night shift
- ensuring that each young person’s care plan and risk assessments are followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs
- working in line with behaviour management plans for each young person
- undertaking full personal care duties
- supporting young people with their health needs as required which may include the administration of medication, peg feeding, moving and handling
- working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations and professionals
