Responsibility
- safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to designated locations
- load and unload delivery vehicles with the use of equipment or by hand
- verify the accuracy of delivery contents and ensure all items are accounted for
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
- provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly communication and assistance as needed
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a delivery vehicle
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Requirements
- previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification
- ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
- ability to pass a basic criminal background check
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Held a full UK driving licence and had regular driving experience for 12 months or more
- ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
